The Walnut Hills High School Class of 1986 Social Justice Scholarship was established in keeping with the WHHS culture of honoring a diverse community devoted to socio-economic status, race, culture, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and gender identity inclusion. The scholarship will be awarded annually to a graduating Senior who has embraced the philosophy of the protection of human dignity.

The award criterion is two-fold; the recipient must demonstrate current participation in relevant peace and social justice extracurricular activities, and future plans pursuant to postsecondary education and a career path dedicated to preventing the marginalization of people.
